Free calls, funded by the federal government.

The Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) program is mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act. It ensures people who are Deaf, hard-of-hearing, or have speech disabilities can make phone calls — at no cost to them.

Once certified, qualifying users access the service at no cost — it's fully covered through the federal TRS program.

MyRelay is actively pursuing FCC IP Relay certification to become an approved provider. Once certified, eligible users will have permanent free access.

Common questions about cost.

Yes. During early access, MyRelay is completely free. No credit card, no trial period, no feature restrictions. You get the full app — all voices, unlimited calls, real-time transcription. We're funded by building toward FCC certification, not by charging users.
For TRS-eligible users — that's the plan. Once FCC-certified, qualifying users (Deaf, hard-of-hearing, or with speech disabilities) would access MyRelay at no cost through federal TRS funding. For non-eligible users, pricing hasn't been finalized, but our goal is to keep MyRelay as affordable and accessible as possible.
The Telecommunications Relay Service (TRS) is a federal program mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act. It ensures that certified relay providers can offer accessible phone services to qualifying users at no cost. MyRelay is pursuing certification to become an approved provider.
Under federal TRS rules, people who are Deaf, hard-of-hearing, deafblind, or have a speech disability qualify for relay services at no cost. This includes conditions like ALS, cerebral palsy, stroke-related speech impairment, Parkinson's, traumatic brain injury, stuttering, and laryngectomy. Check your eligibility here.
Not yet. MyRelay is currently pursuing FCC IP Relay certification. The certification process is rigorous and can take time, but we're committed to seeing it through. In the meantime, the app is fully functional and free to use during early access.
No. There are no hidden fees, no premium tiers, no in-app purchases, and no ads. What you see is what you get. Every feature — every voice, every call — is included at no cost during early access.
